Saw incredibles II and Jurassic Park 5

incredibles was okay, I didn't really remember the 1st one. It was pretty funny and the animation was really really great.

Jurassic Park was pretty enjoyable. I liked it more than the previous one. Lots of Dino-anxiety. And it has some surprisingly emotional moments.

I am also currently watching, for the first time, La La Land. I can't believe I've never seen it before. Beautiful film. For someone in the industry, it resonates incredibly. But I think that's the problem with it. It's a film that virtually only appeals to those in the film industry. I love it though.

Are you in the film industry?

Yes.

I'm not.  I loved LaLa Land.

Crazy Rich Asians was surprisingly enjoyable. Was not expecting to like it as much as I did.

Hearing very positive things about it.

A Star is Born

wow.

Saw it on Friday night.  It was very good.  Gaga was very good, but to me this was the Bradley Cooper show.  Great performance from both behind the camera and in front.

Bohemian Rhapsody was okay. I mean, it's not very accurate, but I doubt the living members of Queen would have signed off on it if it were.

The soundtrack is great, but the soundtrack is Queen. Pretty much impossible to mess that up.

Rami Malek will probably win an Oscar tomorrow.

They wouldn't.  That's why Sacha Baron Cohen left the project.

Watched Once Upon A Time In Hollywood this past Tuesday and didn't love it.

There was basically no plot at all and someone the movie is still almost three hours long. No idea why Margot Robbie's character is even in the movie.

This is what I hear.  Too long.  Self indulgent.  Plotless.  Robbie serves little purpose.  But I hear the dialogue is good as always and it's a gorgeously filmed movie.
