Marlies 2013 Playoffs

Marlies finish as the #2 seed in the AHL's Western Conference. They play the Rochester Americans in the first round.

 

Schedule:

 

Western Conference Quarterfinals – Series “F” (best-of-5)

2-Toronto Marlies vs. 7-Rochester Americans

Game 1 – Sat., Apr. 27 – Rochester at Toronto, 3:00

Game 2 – Sun., Apr. 28 – Rochester at Toronto, 3:00

Game 3 – Wed., May 1 – Toronto at Rochester, 7:00

*Game 4 – Thurs., May 2 – Toronto at Rochester, 7:00

The Marlies went to the finals last year before being swept. Here's hoping this year they can tack on those extra four wins.

In previous years, the only players eligible for the playoffs were those on the Clear Day roster and tryout contracts were eligible for the playoffs.

 

That has changed, and now all players on the roster by the NHL trade deadline (plus tryout contracts) are eligble.
