Marlies 2014 Playoffs

Recommended Posts

Marlies open their playoffs on the road tonight in Milwaukee.

Western Conference Quarterfinals – Series “G” (best-of-5)
3-Toronto Marlies vs. 6-Milwaukee Admirals
Game 1 – Fri., Apr. 25 – Toronto at Milwaukee, 8:00
Game 2 – Sat., Apr. 26 – Toronto at Milwaukee, 8:00
Game 3 – Thu., May 1 – Milwaukee at Toronto, 7:00
*Game 4 – Sat., May 3 – Milwaukee at Toronto, 3:00
*Game 5 – Sun., May 4 – Milwaukee at Toronto, 3:00

Even though the Marlies, as the higher seed, are supposed to have home ice advantage, they could get screwed out of a playoff gate in the event of a sweep.

Maybe it sort of evens out without the extra travel?

Yeah, that's what I figured, so they only have to travel once during the series.

These guys are just dominating the playoffs, but I read a few days ago the rank near the bottom in terms of good prospects. How does that work.

Worth noting Jerry D'Amigo has 12 points in 8 playoff games, and is the highest scoring player still active in the playoffs.
