McDavid out of WJHC?

Recommended Posts

Connor McDavid injured his hand in a fight tonight.

Otters wouldn't release result of X-ray, but said he will see a hand specialist tomorrow. That's code for "he needs surgery".

Am I the only one who finds it ironic that in a sport where they're trying so hard eliminate any contact to the head players are still allowed to punch each other in the face?

It's not allowed. That's why the players are penalized after they do it.

Not really sure why he is fighting in the first place...

You can't really prevent it either.

Perry and Getzlaf have a hot temper too. The coach can tell them to never fight all he wants, it's still going to happen from time to time.

The guy McDavid fought had never had an OHL fight and had 0 PIM this year.

Quite the goon.

You joke, but we still have "Slippery when wet" signs all over the place.

That's because people can't always see a spill or a recently mopped floor, numb nuts.

McDavid cleared to return to practice for non-contact drills.

Also Rangers loan Anthony Duclaire to Canada.
