2015/16 Toronto Marlies - They might be better than the Leafs

Marlies win their season opener, 5-3 over the Manitoba Moose.

Nylander, Froese, Campbell, Leivo & Carrick scored for the Marlies, Bibeau made 21 saves for the win.

They are going to be so much fun to watch this year, better than Leafs for sure. Also have to keep an eye on some of those prospects in the CHL, some of these guys might steal Leaf jobs next year.

Marlies improve to 6-3-0 with a 6-1 win over Grand Rapids.

Panik with 4 assists.

Nylander with 2 goals.

Leivo with 1 goal, 2 assists.

Sparks made 38 saves for the win.

Marlies are off today, they play in Albany tomorrow afternoon.

Marlies draw a penalty 30 seconds into the game and Nylander finds Kapanen for a powerplay goal and on the play Nylander increases his current point streak to 10 GP.

Life in the AHL. 6 hour middle of the night bus ride and a home game at 2pm today and another on Sunday.
