ALDS Toronto Blue Jays vs Texas Rangers - Here We Go Away

Recommended Posts

Jays drop Ryan Goins and Dalton Pompey from the roster, adding Aaron Sanchez and J.A. Happ.

Saunders sits for Game 1 with lefty Cole Hamels going for Texas. Upton enters the lineup, Bautista at DH.

Marco Estrada on the mound.

Would actually be nice to find a way to get Pompey on the roster simply for his speed late game, but Zeke is playing too well and he's the only one you can really bump.

No matter, should be a super fun series. Going to game 3 as it stands now, maybe game 4 as well.

With days off, and a 4 man rotation, and a starter in the pen (for multiple innings), I don't think you need an 8 man bullpen.  I would've dropped an arm in place of Pompey.  That late inning speed could prove to be huge...it did last season.

Just keep winning 10-1 and it won't matter.

5-3 final. But in typical Toronto sports fashion, a big win has to come with drawbacks.

Travis getting an MRI on his knee and Liriano took a line drive off the melon.

Game 3 Sunday night at the beer tossin' Dome.

Osuna with the 5-out save today. That boy is a damn gem.

While I'm not saying it's over, I am going to say the Jays didn't go to Texas last year down 0-2 and looking at facing Sanchez and Stroman.

If the Jays end it quickly, I want Cleveland to end their series with Boston quickly, too. If you're going to be rusty for the ALCS, you want the other team to be rusty, as well.

Devon Travis diagnosed with bone bruise in his knee.

Liriano diagnosed with mild concussion.

Both remain on roster to preserve eligibility for ALCS.

Jays win 7-6 in 10.

Texas gets swept away.

"I'd rather get punched in May then knocked out in October."
