Patrick Sharp is an interesting option... not sure we need the help on wing though.

Rangers throw in the towel and announce they're blowing it up.

Would like to see some depth added at center.  Not that I'm a big fab of Bozak fan but I think he can fake being a 2nd line center for a little while if forced into it.  We have no one that can even fake being a 3rd line center if the need arose.  Not sure who that depth guy would be though.

You'd be swinging Marleau into the middle, I guess.

But yes, I think a 3/4 C is coming, don't know who it is yet.

Phaneuf & Nate Thompson to L.A. for Gaborik & Nick Shore.

Sens retain 25% salary.

With Gaborik's cap-hit and the retained salar, the Sens save very little in Cap Space.

But the important thing is their cheapskate owner saves about $4M in actual salary the needs to be paid.

Unless Gaborik intends to retire at the end of season, leaving almost $11M on the table, this is not a good deal for Ottawa...

Good.  Anything that makes that organisation suffer is a thumbs up to me.  That whole fanbase can suck a collective dick too.

Toronto should counter with a 6th now. I mean, Luke is worth maybe that at most.

Dominic Moore is better than Luke Glendening.

Depth.  Not sure what Cock really think about the Gaut.

I think Goat’s last stint, which was awful, ruled him out in Babcock’s mind.

I get wanting depth, but spending a draft pick for 4th line depth is not good asset management.

If it's a low pick, not the end of the world.  A 5th I'm fine with.  If you're gonna start handing out 2nd and 3rd rounders I want a little upside with the asset we're getting back.

Don't the fancy stats say that Glendening is kinda trash?

He's trash. Garbage. Crap. I don't want him.

But Babcock used to match him up against Bostons top-lines. He's "greasy". Babcock is probably the one campaigning for this - since we will probably see Boston in Round 1.

Depth for the 4th line centre position isn't an issue. Getting a GOOD 4th line centre might be.

You can slot in all the Moore's, Fehr's, and Glendenning's in the world, but your best option is probably just Komarov, honestly.
