Dom what's-his-name's projections have the Leafs finishing in a tie for 2nd overall in the league, one point back of Tampa for 1st in divison/conference/league.

And all of that would be rewarded with the Boston Bruins in the 1st round of the playoffs.

Dreger: Believed Leafs and Nylander will compromise on 2 or 3-year bridge deal. The gap between two sides on long-term deal is too much to get done quickly.

teams have called Leafs to ask if Nylander is available. That's a no

- Nylander camp not looking for offer sheet, plus TOR would match anyway

- dialogue has continued in last 24 hours b/w Dubas and Lewis Gross

This clip from Hockey Central shows a good job of both sides of the Nylander contract. I legitimately think Nylander signs and is traded later this year.
