Well, technically speaking, we are America. "Americans" live in the United States of America (North America), which is also where Canada is located. The word America is too often associated with the US that people forget where it originated. Back when these lands were young, they were referred to as "the Americas." That being said, I agree with you that it's a dumb idea, but I'm sure people would still eat there if it was called "Chez Adolf."
